Designer Notes: A tribute to Abraham Lincoln. This little sampler features several motifs that represent our 16th President’s life and legacy. The axe, lamp, and cabin from his boyhood, the flag of the union he worked to preserve, a Civil War quilt block, the $5 bill and copper penny which feature his countenance, and last but definitely not least: his stovepipe hat. The four roses beside the Lincoln Memorial represent the four sons he had with his wife, Mary.
